My seventh-grade English teacher told me I could be a writer. For over fifty years I have wanted to follow the dream she planted in my heart. I have studied writing, practiced writing, and dreamed of writing. Today, at last, that dream has come true. In the Days of Lachoneus: The Gathering is my first published novel. My goal when I started this project was to get this story out of me before I died. I have accomplished one step of that goal. The Gathering tells only part the story. I still have to write two more books to tell the whole thing. And now I find I have other stories in me that have to get out. Please join me on my journey.
I live with my wife in my adopted home town of Kaysville, Utah, after having grown up in Southern California. My children and grandchildren are spread around the U.S. I have degrees in Education from Brigham Young University and the University of Southern California. I served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany. I have had a long career in the Information Technology industry as a programmer, an analyst, and a project manager.
